My Background
My career in library and knowledge services began as a Library Assistant at a private, liberal arts college in Texas, USA, with subsquent roles in a Medical Records Library in Cambridge, England, during the mid-1990s.
After earning an MA in Librarianship from the University of Sheffield and achieving Chartership status (MCLIP) in 1998, altogether I spent 12 years in the National Health Service (NHS) in various library and knowledge services roles performing literature searches and delivering training to healthcare professionals, before transitioning to EBSCO Information Services in early 2011.
For the next 13 plus years, I progressed from a Training Specialist for the UK and Ireland to Manager, Customer Training Services, leading a team across the UK, Middle East, Nordics, and Africa, dedicated to supporting diverse clients in the academic, healthcare, and corporate sectors, through a mix of online and onsite trainings.
